Ajeya (AJ) Shekar is a Director at Provident Healthcare Partners and has been with the firm since 2012.
AJ is responsible for business development and deal execution across a range of healthcare services industries. During his tenure, he has advised dozens of companies that are considering strategic alternatives including strategic mergers and private equity recapitalizations. With a focus on practice management and multi-site transactions, AJ serves as a value added resource to CEOs, management teams, and shareholders regarding transaction opportunities in their respective specialties. Given his industry expertise, he is also sought-after contributor to healthcare M&A industry publications and conferences.
AJ holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Outside of work, he is an avid tennis player and enjoys traveling.
